The Ugly Truth.

Makeup is a product used by about 80% of women in the world. It is advertised on billboards, television, and magazines making the wearers look almost godly in comparison to those not wearing it. Though makeup is made to look visually appealing and glamorous, people never really think about what the product goes through before it hits the stores' shelves. Many of these cosmetic products are tested on animals in order to deem safe for human use. The tests these companies preform are horrific experiments that can harm and injure the animals, even killing them. Luckily, this does not always hold true. Some companies find other ways to test their product like stem cell research or human volunteers who receive pay. Here you will see the types of test animals go through for cosmetics as well as products that do not use animal testing.
